Shell, Schneider Electric and Axens have installed an industrial-scale electric tubular heater at Shell’s R3 base oil project in Germany, marking a milestone in refinery electrification. The companies said the technology is Europe’s first industrial-scale installation of its kind.

Air Arabia will launch daily non-stop flights between Sharjah and Düsseldorf from December 16, 2026. Düsseldorf becomes the carrier’s third German destination from Sharjah, alongside Munich and Frankfurt.
