Nama Water Services has launched a pilot project with Hema Energy to cultivate Camelina, a biofuel crop, using recycled water. The initiative aims to transform treated wastewater into a strategic resource that supports sustainable development and clean energy goals.
Oman’s Nama Water Services said construction is currently under way on a water purification plant being set up in the Wilayat of Qurayat. With the second phase of the project set to begin later this month, the plant is on track for completion by March 2027.
