A consortium led by French utility giant EDF power solutions with members Al Khadra Partners and OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE), has achieved a major milestone with the financial close for the 120MW Jaalan Bani Bu Ali (JBB) Wind Independent Power Project in the Sultanate of Oman.
A consortium comprising EDF power solutions, Al Khadra Partners and OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE) has reached financial close for the 120-megawatt (MW) Jaalan Bani Bu Ali (JBB) Wind Independent Power Project in Oman.
OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE)- a subsidiary of OQ - has confirmed the arrival of the first batch of wind turbines for the Riyah 1 and Riyah 2 wind farms .Developed in partnership with TotalEnergies, the two projects will feature a combined total of 36 turbines with a total generation capacity of 200 MW of clean electricity produced from wind power.
