QatarEnergy has signed two new production sharing contracts (PSC) for offshore Blocks 9 and 10 in Suriname. The blocks were awarded to a QatarEnergy consortium during the POST SHO2 bid round held in June 2025.
KBR announced on Tuesday that it has been awarded a contract for detailed engineering services for the Bul Hanine oil and gas field in Qatar. Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide detailed design and engineering services for QatarEnergy’s Bul Hanine EPIC project, situated approximately 120 km east of Doha.
QatarEnergy has awarded Samsung C&T Corporation the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) project to serve QatarEnergy’s existing LNG production facilities in Ras Laffan Industrial City.
QatarEnergy has signed a Production Sharing Agreement for shallow-water Block S4 offshore the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. The block was awarded through the 2022 Guyana Licensing Round.
QatarEnergy signed a long-term urea supply agreement with Japan’s Mitsui. The 20-year agreement stipulates a supply of up to 0.5 million tonnes per annum of urea to Mitsui starting in January 2026.
QatarEnergy signed a 17-year Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) for the supply of up to 1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG to India.

China Offshore Oil Engineering Company said it has secured a major EPC contract worth $4 billion from QatarEnergy for its Bul Hanine project. The scope of work includes building 60 offshore oil and gas facilities as well as 40 subsea pipelines and cables.
QatarEnergy has announced the commencement in July of utilisation of the long-term LNG delivery, storage, and regasification capacity at the Isle of Grain terminal in the UK. The capacity of up to 7.2 million tonnes per annum will be utilised pursuant to a long-term agreement signed in October 2020.
QatarEnergy has announced that it has secured an agreement from Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) for the supply of up to 24 LNG cargoes this summer. The deal paves the way for continued co-operation between the two in the energy sector.
