Global truck maker Volvo is launching its popular battery-electric medium duty truck – the Volvo FL Electric – in a 14-tonne entry level version with new battery configuration. The electric version has been in the market since 2019 and are sold in multiple markets across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
Ashok Leyland, an Indian multinational automotive manufacturer, has launched its new subsidiary in Saudi Arabia as part of its Middle East expansion plans. Ashok Leyland Saudi will be setting up assembly plant for buses and trucks in the kingdom.
