The UAE's Defaulted Debts Settlement Fund, in cooperation with several UAE banks, has waived more than AED834 million ($227.09 million) in interest accrued on loans owed by 2,339 low-income retirees across the country.
The UAE cabinet has approved 3,567 housing packages for Emirati citizens worth a total AED2.6 billion ($707 million) during 2025, including 524 presidential grants; 623 government housing as well as 2,388 housing financing decisions.
