Bahrain infant mortality rate down

The infant mortality rate in Bahrain has dropped to its lowest in five years compared to international figures and those in Eastern Mediterranean countries, according to recent statistics released by the Health Ministry.

The life expectancy at birth for men is 73.8 years and 76.3 for women. Statistics also revealed that drinking water supply covers 100 per cent of the kingdom.-TradeArabia News Service
