Avaya showcases new offerings at Cairo show
Cairo

Avaya, a leading enterprise communications solution provider, is set to unveil its new roadmap for the future of business communications with capabilities integrated from former Nortel Enterprise Solutions at the ongoing Cairo ICT 2010.

Avaya said it will showcase its exciting new developments and service offerings in Egypt during the ICT show which runs till February 10 at the Cairo International Conference Centre.

At the event Avaya will be on hand to discuss its recent accelerated expansion in Egypt including announcing the formation if its country-specific legal entity, Avaya Egypt.

Avaya will also announce its plans to improve training and Service Provider hosted solutions offerings in Egypt through its recent partnerships with Egyptian based telecom authorities, The National Telecommunication Institute and TEData, said a senior official.

“We are aggressively expanding our market reach in Egypt by driving Avaya’s global leadership in the areas of contact centers and unified communications solutions to businesses in the country,” said Hossam Amer, territory manager – Egypt & North Africa, Avaya.

“In particular we are focusing on offering new solutions to Egypt’s government, service provider, hospitality, finance, banking and real estate sectors,” he noted.

The company is all set to introduce Avaya Aura, a powerful unified communications solution that enables businesses to establish a competitive advantage by lifting barriers that often inhibit effective communication and collaboration.

Designed with the ability to be deployed rapidly over existing infrastructure, Avaya Aura helps minimize downtime and costs while accelerating productivity and return on investment.

The new product unifies all forms of communication (voice, messaging, e-mail, voice mail, and more), across multi-vendor, multi-location businesses, into one unified communications platform thus enabling end users to communicate seamlessly anytime and anywhere while at the same time improving the quality and reliability of all communications throughout any enterprise.

'Organizations in the region need to look beyond the traditional mix of communications systems and pursue a more unified approach to enterprise communications,' Amer pointed out.

'The innovative and powerful Avaya Aura platform has arrived just in time, simplifying complex networks and reducing infrastructure costs by leveraging a revolutionary architecture and virtualization technology with the power to extend Communication Manager and enable SIP based session management,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
