New revenue director for Grand Millennium Dubai

DUBAI, September 2, 2015

The Grand Millennium Dubai, a leading hotel in the UAE emirate, has appointed Hassan Dana as its new director of revenue.

Dana will be monitoring demand trends, booking pace, and market trends, which will be translated into total hotel revenue management strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase the market share respectively.

Peter Mansourian, general manager of the Grand Millennium Dubai, said: “The appointment of Hassan Dana as director of revenue will help maximise total sales and revenue through development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies. His experience as well as analytical and technical knowledge of brand reservation systems, sales and business development management systems, and front office systems will lead and inspire our revenue management team to drive better results.”

Before joining the Grand Millennium Dubai, Dana was working with Hospitality Marketing Concepts, Dubai, as director of sales operations for Middle East, where he managed the sales forecast process, territory planning and strategic development plans of the region.

Earlier, he worked with Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, Dubai, as revenue manager as well as Global Contact Centre manager.

Dana, who earned a Diploma in Hotel Management from the prestigious Alpine Centre for Hotel and Tourism Management, Athens, Greece, started his career in 1993 with the Hilton International, Dubai, and served in various capacities. Later, he joined the Hilton Reservations Worldwide (HRW), Dubai, as manager, HRW Middle East & Africa.
