Salalah Rotana Resort, one of the leading hospitality establishments in Oman, has welcomed Andre Viegas as its new director of learning and development.

Starting his career as learning and development coordinator in ART Rotana Bahrain, Viegas’ hard work and commitment to the company enabled him to ascend to the position of assistant learning and development manager, a position he held prior to joining Salalah Rotana Resort. Over the course of his career, Viegas worked at Al Manshar Rotana Kuwait, Majestic Arjaan by Rotana and a short stint at Downtown Rotana Bahrain.

Hossam Kamal, Salalah Rotana resort’s general manager, said: “It is a pleasure to welcome such a young, dynamic and focused colleague to the team at Salalah. Viegas has displayed his passion for hospitality and I am delighted to have him occupy his newest challenging yet exciting role.
