SABIC is making a major impact at this year’s GPCA conference in Bahrain, marking its participation with a significantly heightened presence and strong senior leadership representation.

As one of the most influential industry players, the company’s expanded role underscores its commitment to advancing dialogue, innovation, and collaboration across the chemical and petrochemical sector. The event is taking place at Exhibition World Bahrain until December 11.

As a founding member of the GPCA, SABIC has played a key role in its rapid growth and expansion since its inception in 2006 as the region’s first voluntary, non-profit association of its kind in the Middle East.

SABIC CEO Eng Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh, who is also an Executive Board Member of the company, is the current Chairman of the Association.

GPCA was established on the conviction that the shared interests of member companies can be addressed more effectively through a collective approach led by an independent, dedicated organization. Since then, the association has remained true to its mission, offering meaningful networking opportunities to its members through various platforms, as well as multiple avenues to debate industry issues and address any concerns. Successive SABIC CEOs have chaired GPCA for most part of its evolving years.
