Bahrain's Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has confirmed that the temporary power outage that affected several areas across the Kingdom has been fully resolved.

The authority said its specialised technical teams immediately took the necessary measures to restore the service as quickly as possible, and electricity has now been fully restored in all affected areas, a Bahrain News Agency report said.

Meanwhile, Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, ‌Water and Renewable Energy said that power had been restored to ​all residential areas affected by outages ​caused by a number of overhead ⁠lines going out of service.

The ​ministry said supply had been restored after ​teams completed work to re-feed the affected areas from the electricity grid.
