Bahrain-based Poullaides Construction Company said it has secured a major contract from Hitachi Energy for the construction of a state-of-the-art High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) valve manufacturing facility at Dammam in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, thus marking a significant step in PCC's expansion across the kingdom.
For the project, PCC Arabia’s scope of works includes development of production buildings, offices, warehouses, utility infrastructure, external works and all associated MEP services, supporting Hitachi Energy’s continued growth and manufacturing capacity in the region.
The contract was signed at Hitachi Energy’s office in Dammam by Christos Poullaides, the Chairman & Managing Director of Poullaides Group in the presence of Hitachi Energy representatives and PCC’s Saudi Arabia leadership team, including its Chief Operating Officer Andreas Pernaros as well as its projects director and project manager.
On the contract win, Pernaros said: "We're proud to be partnering with Hitachi on a project that represents an important step in PCC's expansion across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
“We look forward to delivering a successful project and supporting Hitachi's continued growth in the region,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
