Egyptian consortium seals $6bn Oman EPC framework agreement

A consortium of Egyptian major Petrojet and top contractor Enppi has sealed a long-term engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) framework agreement with Petroleum Development Oman, giving the Egyptian alliance access to a project portfolio worth more than $6 billion.

The deal, signed at Petroleum Development Oman’s headquarters, runs for six years and places the Petrojet–Enppi alliance among four international consortia and contractors qualified to compete for projects through competitive tenders.

The scope of work includes detailed engineering, procurement of equipment and materials, construction, installation, commissioning, and project management services for future oil and gas facilities and infrastructure awarded under the framework agreement.

The selection of the Petrojet–ENPPI Consortium reflects its proven capabilities in executing large-scale energy projects, delivering integrated engineering solutions, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.

The framework positions the consortium to support PDO’s future upstream developments while strengthening its presence in one of the region’s largest energy markets.-TradeArabia News Service
