Ampo Poyam Valves has been selected to supply 180
large-sized engineered gate valves, including 148 cryogenic service gate
valves, for Saudi Aramco’s Riyas NGL Fractionation Trains project in Jubail,
Saudi Arabia.
The EPC contract for the project was awarded to Spanish
engineering firm Técnicas Reunidas.
The facility, part of the second phase of the Jafurah
unconventional gas field development, will process natural gas liquids through
two fractionation trains, each with a capacity of 255,000 barrels per day,
producing ethane, propane, butane and pentane.
The project supports Aramco’s strategy to expand gas
production and diversify its energy portfolio.
Ampo will provide valves in sizes up to 68 inches for
general services and up to 64 inches and 600lbs for cryogenic applications,
marking one of the company’s most technically demanding projects.
The award reflects Ampo’s expertise in large-scale and
cryogenic valve solutions, strengthening its role as a supplier for Aramco and
major energy projects across Saudi Arabia. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
