Saudia, Saudi Arabia’s national flag carrier, has been ranked the world’s most on-time airline for arrivals in July 2026, according to global aviation analytics provider Cirium.
The airline achieved an on-time arrival rate of 87.24% after
operating 16,406 flights during the month, securing the top position during the
peak summer travel season.
The ranking highlights Saudia’s operational reliability amid
increased passenger demand, higher flight volumes and the complexity of
managing busy summer schedules.
The airline attributed the performance to coordinated
efforts across Saudia Group, alongside collaboration with aviation partners and
government entities at airports.
Advanced digital systems and artificial intelligence also
support operational planning, decision-making and daily operations, helping
improve reliability for passengers.
July’s result marks the third time Saudia has ranked first
globally for on-time performance.
The airline’s three top rankings have been achieved during
some of the busiest periods of the year, including Hajj and the peak summer
season, underscoring its ability to maintain operational standards during
periods of sustained demand.
Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, said: “Consistency
at this level is only possible when every team across the organization is
working toward the same goal. It reflects the capability of our national
workforce and our continued investment in the technologies that strengthen our
operations every day.”
Al-Omar added: “Ranking first globally for the third time
this year is an achievement we are proud of, but our focus extends beyond
rankings. Our priority is to deliver a reliable travel experience every day for
our guests while continuing to contribute to the objectives of the Saudi
Aviation Strategy. We will continue strengthening our operations, investing in
our people, and building on the standards that have enabled us to achieve this
performance.”
