Bahrain's Eskan Bank has invited bids from leading contractors for the construction of three community projects within Madinat Salman, one of the kingdom's major urban developments.
The project scope includes development of a central market, a supermarket and a sports facility - featuring two football fields and two drive-through buildings - with a combined BUA of 5,231 sq m.
As per the Bahrain Tender notification, Eskan aims to build the central market on Plot 11 featuring dedicated meat, fish and vegetable markets, as well as small retail and food and beverage outlets, with a gross BUA of 1,478.72 sq m.
Plot 16 will feature a supermarket with a gross built-up area of 3,534.66 sq m, while the sports facility on Plot 17 will include two football fields and two drive-through buildings, with a gross built-up area of 217.34 sq m.
According to Eskan, these projects form part of the development of Madinat Salman, one of Bahrain's major urban developments.
The tender is open to qualified contractors under a local GCC public invitation and the entire work will be completed within 12 months.
The deadline for submitting the bids has been set at September 27.-TradeArabia News Service
