RateHawk, the B2B travel technology platform of Emerging Travel Group, recorded strong growth in API adoption during the first half of 2026, reflecting rising demand for flexible connectivity among travel businesses.
API bookings increased 78% year on year, while its partnership network grew 28% to 1,800 companies globally.
Through RateHawk API, partners can access millions of accommodation options across more than 190 countries, sourced from global suppliers and directly contracted properties.
Its partners include online travel agencies, tour operators, travel management companies, startups and other businesses integrating hotel inventory into their platforms.
The company has also expanded its API infrastructure with a Content API available in 32 languages.
The solution provides enriched, real-time hotel content supported by AI-powered mapping, content management and rate-matching tools, alongside anomaly detection to improve data quality.
The API also supports package rates and multi-room bookings in a single order, simplifying complex reservations. Recent UK partners include Bedfares.
“The growth of API bookings reflects a broader shift in the travel industry: as travelers become more price-sensitive and their expectations more diverse, businesses need to expand supply options and respond faster to market changes. Technology partners can help them with that. Building a broad and competitive accommodation portfolio independently can take years and requires significant investment, which is why more travel companies are turning to API integrations. We believe the next phase of industry growth will be increasingly powered by connected ecosystems, and developing our API infrastructure remains one of our strategic priorities,” says Christopher Jallah, Head of API Distribution at RateHawk.
“Partners can integrate directly with our platform or through one of more than 100 travel technology partners, helping them accelerate time to market. To build long-term partnerships, we provide dedicated support throughout the integration journey. As part of our strategy, we’ve allocated dedicated resources within local teams, introducing a new API Optimisation Manager role in most of the markets. We also launched a self-service sandbox environment that enables businesses to test solutions faster and onboard with greater confidence,” concludes Jallah. -TradeArabia News Service
