Expro has commenced operations under a four-year contract worth approximately $380 million with a major North African operator to provide production optimisation and well management services across multiple fields.
The agreement will see Expro deploy advanced production
technologies and integrated solutions to improve operational efficiency and
support Algeria’s efforts to increase output.
The contract covers several projects requiring rapid mobilisation
of equipment and expertise across key developments, with a focus on safety,
efficiency and sustainable production.
Alistair Geddes, Chief Operating Officer at Expro
said: “This platform builds on more than a decade of collaboration with
our client and reflects the strength of our partnership in delivering safe,
efficient production solutions. We’re proud to continue supporting Algeria’s
energy ambitions with systems designed to sustain output, maximise uptime and
reduce operating costs.”
Geddes added: “It also reinforces our ability to respond
quickly to a changing market and operational environment, driving performance
and innovation across one of North Africa’s most important energy regions.”
The award is one of Expro’s largest contracts in North
Africa and strengthens its position as an energy services partner in Algeria,
while expanding its contribution to production performance across the wider Mena
region. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
