Red Sea Global (RSG), the regenerative tourism developer, has announced the opening of Equinox Resort AMAALA at Marina Village in Triple Bay, marking the fitness and wellness brand’s second hotel globally and its first outside the US.
The resort brings Equinox’s performance-focused approach to
wellness and recovery to AMAALA, with 128 rooms and suites across six
accommodation categories, including two penthouse suites, as well as 21 branded
residences.
The property was designed by Foster + Partners, with
interiors by Rockwell Group, drawing inspiration from the Red Sea coastline,
marine environment and surrounding mountains.
"The opening of Equinox Resort AMAALA introduces a
distinctive new dimension to the destination’s wellness offering. Equinox has
built a global reputation around high-performance living, and bringing that
expertise to AMAALA reinforces our ambition to create a destination where
wellness, sport and luxury come together in a truly differentiated way,"
said John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global.
The resort features 704 sqm of indoor and outdoor training
space, making it the largest fitness facility in AMAALA.
Its rooms incorporate Equinox Hotels’ sleep science
platform, including circadian lighting, advanced acoustic isolation and
precision climate control designed to support rest and recovery.
A 1,602 sqm spa is centred on the Equinox X Circuit, a
seven-circuit regeneration experience combining treatments and technologies
such as cryotherapy, infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, hydrotherapy
and contrast-temperature therapies.
Guests can also access four outdoor swimming pools,
including a lap pool, leisure pools and a rooftop magnesium salt pool
overlooking Triple Bay, the AMAALA Marina and AMAALA Yacht Club.
Dining venues include Mint + Co, Soho Souk, Sama Ai and EQX
Den, with menus focused on what the resort describes as “indulgently healthy
nutrition.” -TradeArabia News Service
