Red Sea Global opens international school at Amaala

Red Sea Global (RSG) has opened Daraah International School (DIS) at Amaala in partnership with SEK Education Group, expanding education services for employees and their families living at the regenerative tourism destination.

Located within AMAALA’s employee residential community, DIS follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum through the Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme.

The school emphasises critical thinking, creativity and collaboration, while incorporating national values and an inquiry-based approach to learning.

The school’s opening was attended by RSG Group Chief Executive Officer John Pagano and Tabuk Region Director General of Education Majid Al-Kuair, alongside representatives from RSG and SEK Education Group.

DIS adopts SEK’s education model, combining active learning, technology and collaborative environments.

Its programmes place particular emphasis on sustainability, well-being, innovation and marine sciences, reflecting AMAALA’s focus on regenerative tourism and its coastal natural environment.

The campus includes science and technology laboratories, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, performing arts and music spaces, a library and media centre, collaborative learning areas, and dedicated student well-being and support facilities.

RSG said the school forms part of its broader effort to create an integrated living and working environment at its destinations.

DIS follows the opening of Turtle Bay International School at The Red Sea last year.

Together, the schools are designed to help employees settle with their families while providing access to essential services, modern amenities and international education.

The developments support RSG’s wider commitment to sustainable communities and world-class educational opportunities alongside its tourism projects. -TradeArabia News Service
