Bahrain’s Oil and Environment Minister and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Mohammed bin Dinah met Hussein Al Qahtani, Chairman of the Gulf Downstream Association (GDA), to discuss cooperation in refining, petrochemicals and downstream industries.
The meeting explored ways to strengthen coordination,
exchange expertise and share knowledge in sectors vital to the Gulf’s energy
industry. Bin Dinah stressed the importance of maintaining cooperation with
specialised institutions and supporting initiatives that promote professional
knowledge-sharing and keep the sector aligned with global energy developments.
The minister praised the GDA’s activities and events,
highlighting its role in connecting specialists and industry professionals and
supporting the growth of the downstream sector across GCC countries.
Discussions also covered preparations for the fourth
International Downstream Conference and Exhibition (IDCE), scheduled to take
place in Bahrain next year.
Al Qahtani, meanwhile, praised Bahrain’s continued support
