Gradiant, a water infrastructure provider for the AI sector, has secured a contract to deliver a turnkey water and wastewater solution for a hyperscale AI data centre campus being developed by a major global technology company.
The project
will provide potable water supply and wastewater
treatment through a single integrated system.
It expands
Gradiant’s growing portfolio of water infrastructure projects
supporting AI data centres and its HyperSolved platform, which
integrates cooling water treatment, CURE Chemicals and SmartOps.
The development
forms part of one of the largest multi-billion-dollar AI
infrastructure investments in the US.
Its
zero-surface-discharge design aims to enable large-scale
computing growth while reducing pressure on local water
resources, offering a potential model for responsible
AI infrastructure development in water-constrained regions
worldwide.
“Water-scarce regions are where the next
wave of hyperscale growth is happening, and most operators don’t have a way to
get there,” said Prakash Govindan, CEO of Gradiant. “We’re giving them one.
This project shows hyperscalers can build in these markets without water
becoming the reason they can’t.”
