Remittances from Egyptians working abroad increased by 28.1% to $29.7 billion during the first seven months of 2026 compared to $23.2 billion for the same period last year.
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) figures showed that the remittances continued their upward trend, rising by 20.0% in July 2026, to register about $4.5 billion compared to around $3.8 billion in July 2025, an Emirates News Agency (WAM) report said.—TradeArabia News Service
