Emirates will deploy its Airbus A350 on scheduled US services for the first time from November 1, when the aircraft begins daily flights to Orlando, replacing the Boeing 777 that has operated the route since 2015.
The A350 features Emirates’ latest cabin interiors and
technology, with 32 Business Class seats, 28 Premium Economy seats and 238
Economy Class seats.
Flights EK219 and EK220 will operate daily between Dubai and
Orlando.
The aircraft’s US debut also expands Emirates’ Premium
Economy offering, which provides passengers with additional space, enhanced
dining and upgraded amenities on long-haul journeys.
Premium Economy seats feature 19.5-inch width, adjustable
headrests, footrests, charging points and 13.3-inch entertainment screens.
Passengers also receive seasonal meals served on Royal
Doulton china, an expanded beverage selection, sustainable amenity kits,
pillows and blankets, along with priority boarding and dedicated Premium
Economy check-in at Dubai International Airport.
Matthew Jones, Emirates’ VP – US commented: “We are extremely delighted to roll out elevated experiences for our customers in the US. Customers travelling on this important route will now be able to fly to Dubai while enjoying the latest in-flight experiences and superior levels of comfort in all three cabin classes, including Premium Economy, which is available on a growing list of routes in our network.” -TradeArabia News Service
