Bloomberg has announced the opening of a new office in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, marking the expansion of its presence in the Kingdom.
The expansion builds on almost two decades of Bloomberg's presence in Saudi Arabia, established in 2007, serving clients across the country's banks, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds and government institutions.
Jean-Paul Zammitt, President of Bloomberg, said: "Saudi Arabia is one of the world's most dynamic and fast-evolving financial markets, and we are deepening our long-term commitment to the Kingdom. Opening our new office in KAFD is an important milestone for Bloomberg, and we're proud to mark it today alongside our partners. It allows us to work even more closely with our clients as we continue to invest in Saudi Arabia's growth.”
Building on the memorandum of understanding Bloomberg signed with The Financial Academy in October 2025, Bloomberg also announced the launch of the Bloomberg Finance Lab and Bloomberg Finance Pathways in Saudi Arabia, further expanding its investment in financial skills development in the Kingdom.
Bloomberg is extending this investment into the wider community through initiatives focused on entrepreneurship and economic opportunity. These include a collaboration with Turquoise Mountain, a global cultural heritage organisation that works with artisans to preserve traditional crafts and develop vocational and entrepreneurial skills, predominantly with women, in Saudi Arabia.
Bloomberg also announced a new Collaboration Fund with Synergos, a global non-profit organisation focused on developing leaders and fostering collaboration to address complex challenges. The initiative will support social entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia through joint projects and capacity building, with a focus on advancing entrepreneurship, economic opportunity and social innovation in line with the ambitions of Vision 2030.
