TechnipFMC announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BP Exploration & Production, a subsidiary of BP, establishing a framework for the two companies to cooperate on the supply of 20,000 psi (20K) subsea tree systems for BP’s Paleogene projects in the Gulf of America.

The MoU allows both parties to identify and collaborate on early opportunities and future technology development, with the aim of improving project outcomes and providing greater certainty in project schedules.
