Aseer Region Municipality, represented by Khamis Mushait Municipality, has completed the development of a new site for car showrooms north of the governorate, spanning more than 500,000 sq m. 

The project aims to expand commercial activities in the automotive sector by providing an integrated investment environment featuring car showrooms, dealerships, an automotive auction yard, and transport and storage facilities, a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report said. It will also create new investment opportunities and support economic growth.

Khamis Mushait Municipality said the project includes 168 plots designated for car showrooms, each covering up to 1,500 sq m. The site also includes plots of up to 2,000 sq m for automotive dealerships and a 10,000-sq m auction yard.

The project expands the sector's capacity, increasing the number of showroom plots from approximately 55 at the previous site to 168 at the new location. This expansion is expected to accommodate more automotive businesses and support further commercial and investment growth in Khamis Mushait Governorate.—TradeArabia News Service
