200-year-old temple in Bahrain set for $1.3m renovation

MANAMA, December 18, 2015

Bahrain’s oldest Hindu temple is set to undergo a half-million-dinar renovation. New designs for the 200-year-old Hindu Temple inside Manama Suq will be unveiled tomorrow (December 19) with a planned budget of BD500,000 ($1.3 million) to be spent over the next 18 months, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
