A seminar on external quality control in labortatories began today (November 6) in Muscat.

The seminar was held in the premises of contagious diseases control and combating department at the Ministry of Health. 

The seminar discussed means of implementing WHO programmes and strategies in the region, in addition to reviewing the studies of 2004/2005 and the role of referral laboratories.

The meeting also reviewed reports prepared by the labs taking part in the meeting.
