Mitsubishi to sell 100,000 vehicles in Gulf

Doha, November 13, 2007

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) expects to sell more than 100,000 vehicles in the GCC region during this financial year.

As many as 52,000 vehicles were sold in the first half of the fiscal year, a Gulf Times report quoted MMC president Osamu Masuko as saying.

He was speaking at a meeting hosted by Nasser Bin Khaled (NBK) Holding in Qatar.

Qatar Automobiles Company (QAC), an NBK division, is the exclusive dealer of MMC and Mitsubishi Fuso trucks and buses in Qatar.

Masuko said sales in the GCC region during the previous financial year totaled 79,000 vehicles, which was 25 per cent more than the fiscal year before that.
