Mazda2 set for Oman launch

The Mazda2, the only Japanese car ever to win the prestigious 'World Car of the Year' overall award,  will be launched in Oman before Ramadan.

'World Car of the Year' (WCOTY) is the most respected award for any automobile company and is chosen by a jury of 48 top auto journalists from 22 countries. Till date only 3 German car brands have won this award due to its highly stringent criteria.

Mazda2 offers driver’s area with good visibility and spaciousness coupled with convenient equipment that makes driving easy. Mazda2 will be available in 1.5 litre engine with the whole lot of advanced features as standard which are not currently being offered by other competitive models in its class, a statement said.

“Since its launch, the Mazda2 has received more than 50 awards globally, including Car of the Year in over 20 countries, acclaimed for its beautiful design, sporty driving performance, and outstanding eco-friendly features,” stated Annurag Chawla, head of Marketing and Communications, Towell Auto Centre, the dealer of Mazda in Oman.-TradeArabia News Service
