KIA Cadenza was named the “Best Family Saloon of the Year” at the second annual Car of the Year Awards from Wheels, UAE’s leading motor magazine.

“The KIA Cadenza competes squarely on merit, and on any basis you wish to choose, against any rival. It is fast, refined, well equipped, and stylishly modern in appearance. It offers a comprehensive package of performance, equipment and quality that is impressive, not just for Kia, but for any manufacturer to achieve,” said a spokesman from Wheels.

“The silhouette is modern and elegant, with crisp features that looks good on the move. Most importantly, it stands in comparison with any of the major marquees coming out of Europe or Japan, and betters many of them,” he added.

Outside, the Cadenza features KIA’s signature “tiger nose” grill, running LED lights that define the shape of the head and rear lights, combined with dual mufflers and bigger wheels that give the car its sporty appearance.

The interior includes quality leather,  ‘floating’ dashboard, panoramic glass sunroof, combined with high-tech features like the welcoming system, mood lamps,  key-less entry, an engine start button, reversing safety camera, built-in navigation system.

“The Cadenza has earned its way to the top, for its broad consumer appeal,” stated Mohammed Khader, general manager for Al Majid Motors-Kia, the sole distributor for KIA Motors in the UAE.

The KIA Cadenza features a 3.5 litre V6 engine and a six speed automatic transmission with auto shift lock system. The model utiliSes front wheel drive with MacPherson front suspension and multilink rear suspension.-TradeArabia News Service
