UK costume firm to showcase at DEAL

Dubai, April 12, 2012

UK based-based Rainbow Productions will showcase several world class colourful cartoon characters at the upcoming Dubai Entertainment Amusement and Leisure (DEAL) event, said organisers.

Organised by International Expo Consults (IEC), a division of UAE’s multi-faceted business conglomerate Falak Holding, DEAL 2012 will take place from April 17 to 19 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Rainbow Productions worked with Saltimbanco Italiano Global art Theatre Company in Dubai to manufacture six colourful penguin characters.

These costume characters took part in a parade as part of the Sharjah Water Festival 2011. Rainbow Productions also created Mouj, the mascot of the festival.

Simon Foulkes, sales & marketing director at Rainbow Productions said: “The 2012 DEAL Expo will be the sixth consecutive year that Rainbow Productions has exhibited as we find it an invaluable opportunity to meet a diverse range of leisure clients in the GCC and many other territories.”

“2011 has seen the company continue to supply bespoke costumes for use in a diverse range of projects in the region; I feel we are becoming established as a leading supplier of high quality costume characters.  As well as meeting visitors at our exhibition Stand J7, I’m looking forward to speaking on April 16 about licensing and the leisure industry as part of the DEAL seminar programme.”

“At DEAL 2012 we will showcase our bespoke costume characters to the leisure sector, which are used to provide added entertainment for guests and to help promote a venue or a campaign. Rainbow Productions has also designed and manufactured a new Pirate Bear mascot specifically to unveil during DEAL 2012.  The Pirate mascot will be making personal appearances during the three-day exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre,” added Simon.

Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, chairman of IEC said: “Contracts worth millions of dollars were signed at DEAL 2011 indicating renewed confidence in the region’s leisure sector. Now in its 18th edition, DEAL is the only platform in the Middle East for exhibitors in these industries to connect with buyers, for buyers to see and test the latest products and services, and for professionals to share best practice and make new contacts.”

“For an exhibitor, this is the best opportunity of the year to showcase their quality equipments and services to thousands of potential buyers at a single venue. Visitors can attend dedicated seminars, see technology at its innovative best, network with industry peers, and develop profitable business relationships,” concluded Falaknaz. – TradeArabia News Service
