Saudi Steel Pipe Company has announced that one of its consolidated subsidiaries, Global Pipe Company, has signed a significant supply contract with Subsea Seven (SS7), a global leader in offshore energy engineering and construction.
As per the SAR300 million ($80 million) deal, Global Pipe Company will supply specialised line pipes for a major offshore redevelopment project being executed by Subsea Seven.
These pipes are designed to meet stringent offshore specifications and demanding operational requirements, highlighting Global Pipe’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, technical expertise, and commitment to international quality standards, said Saudi Steel Pipe Company in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.
The contract marks an important milestone in strengthening Global Pipe’s presence in the offshore energy sector. The entire supply work will be completed in 11 months, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
