The UAE's air defences are currently dealing with missile and drone attacks originating from Iran, the UAE Ministry of Defense said in an X post.
It said the ministry confirms that the sounds heard in various parts of the country are the result of the UAE air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.
On Tuesday, three people were injured in attacks on the UAE and sparked fire at a key oil facility in Fujairah.
