Bahrain's national carrier Gulf Air has announced special fares to capital Kuala Lumpur ahead of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 in Malaysia with the operations set to kick off on September 29, providing seamless access to one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant destinations.

The promotional period which opens today (August 15) will see the Bahrain flag-carrier offer tickets starting from BD65 ($170) onwards for a one-way Economy Class fare, inclusive of all taxes and surcharges, until August 21. 

Passengers can take advantage of direct flights from Bahrain to Kuala Lumpur for travel between September 29 and March 27, it stated.

With this move, Gulf Air said it is giving passengers more reasons to plan their Malaysian getaway. To make the experience even more rewarding, Gulf Air Holidays will be offering a range of tailored travel packages designed around the race weekend, combining flights, accommodation, airport transfers, and race experiences for passengers travelling to Kuala Lumpur.
