Arabian Drilling, Saudi Arabia’s largest drilling contractor by fleet size, said it has received notice to resume operations for its remaining suspended offshore rigs.
The company expects the restart to reflect a recovery in
offshore market activity and lift utilisation across its offshore fleet to 100
per cent by the end of the third quarter of 2026.
Arabian Drilling said achieving full utilisation would mark
an important milestone, highlighting its operational readiness, disciplined
execution and ability to respond to improving market demand.
Fahad Albani, Chief Executive Officer of Arabian Drilling,
stated: "The return of these rigs is a significant milestone for Arabian
Drilling and reinforces our confidence in the outlook for the offshore segment.
As our activity continues to improve, we remain committed to maintaining the
highest standards of safety, operational performance and service quality, while
delivering sustainable growth and long-term value for all our stakeholders.” -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
