Innovo, Dubai PropTech to boost construction innovation across UAE

Innovo Group, a leading construction company across the UAE’s built environment, has sealed a strategic partnership with Dubai PropTech Hub, an initiative of a Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), in a move aimed at accelerating construction innovation across the UAE and the wider Global South, spanning Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

As a construction industry leader serving a broad portfolio of government and private-sector clients, Innovo will leverage the partnership to advance its vision of embedding innovation across how the built environment is designed, engineered and delivered.

By combining its live construction projects, engineering expertise and wider innovation ecosystem with the capabilities of Dubai PropTech Hub, Innovo will help identify, test and scale innovations that improve cost efficiency, speed and delivery certainty for the industry and its clients.

Contributing approximately 9.2% to the UAE’s GDP, the construction sector is a critical pillar of the national economy and a key focus of Dubai PropTech Hub’s PropTech 2033 report.

The partnership agreement was signed by Mohammad Alblooshi, the Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Innovation Hub and Simon Penney, the Deputy CEO of Innovo in the presence of Arif Amiri, the Chief Executive of DIFC Authority and Bishoy Azmy, the CEO of Innovo.

Launched in 2025 as part of the DIFC Innovation Hub, the Dubai PropTech Hub brings together key stakeholders to accelerate innovation in the sector, with an ambition to support over 200 PropTech start-ups, and attract more than $300 million in investment by 2030.

It now welcomes Innovo alongside its founding partners to strengthen innovation across the real estate value chain. The Dubai PropTech Hub provides customised licensing options, purpose-built physical workspaces, and a full suite of support programmes designed to fast-track innovation from concept to commercialisation.-TradeArabia News Service
