Accor’s subscription loyalty programme drives higher stays and spending

Subscription-based hotel loyalty is generating higher guest engagement and spending across Accor’s network, according to newly compiled data from ALL Accor+ Explorer, the premium tier of the group’s loyalty subscription programme.

Explorer membership has surpassed 480,000 members across 22 countries, including the UAE. Members are recording 2.9 times more stays, 74% more repeat visits and 2.6 times more spending than non-members.

Compared with guests without any ALL Accor loyalty status, stays and spending are 4.8 and 4.1 times higher, respectively.

Across the Accor network, Explorer members have generated more than 3.5 million room nights and €454 million in room revenue.

Asia Pacific accounts for 36% of ALL Accor’s total loyalty contribution, highlighting the region’s growing importance to the group’s global strategy.

In the UAE, the benefits are also being reflected at individual properties. Mövenpick Hotel Apartments Downtown Dubai, a five-star, 244-apartment property near Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall, offers Explorer members the programme’s full range of benefits.

These include two complimentary Stay Plus nights per membership year, 15% off public rates at more than 4,500 Accor hotels worldwide, discounts of up to 50% through Red Hot Rooms offers, and 30% off dining and 15% off drinks for tables of up to 10 guests.

At the Dubai property, members can use their benefits at venues including Grazer Restaurant and Oasis Terrace & Garden, as well as enjoy the hotel’s daily Chocolate Hour.

The latest figures highlight the growing role of subscription-based loyalty in hotel economics, with deeper guest engagement increasingly translating into repeat stays and higher spending.

For Downtown Dubai, which attracts business travellers, families and long-stay visitors, the model is helping strengthen customer retention and property-level revenue.

ALL Accor+ Explorer membership costs $249 annually and is available through Accor’s website or participating hotels. -TradeArabia News Service
