Saudi Arabia will host the first Red Sea Yacht Show from October 14 to 17, 2027, as Sela and Tahaluf seek to boost the Kingdom’s luxury yachting sector and generate investment returns exceeding SAR1.8 billion ($479 million).
The event aims to attract around 50 yachts, 150 exhibitors and more than 10,000 visitors.
Announced at the Monaco Yacht Show, the
initiative is backed by Makkah Region Deputy Governor Prince Saud bin Mishaal
bin Abdulaziz.
Sela, owned by the Public Investment Fund, signed a
cooperation agreement with Tahaluf to organise and promote the event globally.
The show will feature yacht receptions, luxury fashion, jewellery
and cars, alongside culinary, golf and Red Sea diving experiences.
Several yachts are also expected to sail from Monaco’s Port
Hercule to the Red Sea for the winter season, with support from BOAT
International, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s marine destinations and tourism
offerings.
The announcement was attended by Prince Albert II of Monaco,
