Towers Rotana Dubai, an iconic 375-room hotel located on Dubai’s prominent Sheikh Zayed Road, has once again contributed towards minimising its carbon footprint through its support of Earth Hour 2019, an annual occasion calling for individuals, groups and businesses to address climate change and highlight the importance of collective efforts towards a more sustainable future.

In support of the occasion, the hotel switched off all non-essential lights in common areas for 60-minutes, while representatives from each hotel department along with guests of the hotel contributed in a ceremonial candle lighting event in the hotel lobby in support of the commitment to reinforcing the Rotana’s corporate sustainability initiative; Rotana Earth which, has been developed to address environmental, economic and social issues. 

Guests of the hotel staying through the occasion of Earth Hour were also encouraged to participate by switching off all non-essential lights, air-conditioning and other room appliances to make an impact.
