Mirihi Island Resort in the Maldives has announced the opening of its new, exclusive luxury lounge at the seaplane terminal at Velana International Airport in capital, Male. Complimentary access to the lounge is provided daily between 6 am-8 pm for all arriving guests and for those departing on an evening international flight.

This facility provides comfort and tranquillity while waiting for seaplane or international flight connections, and enables a seamless check-in procedure prior to arrival at the resort, inviting guests to relax immediately into their vacation.

The lounge’s decor is inspired by the boutique and distinctive concept of the island, focusing on natural materials and a colour palette drawn from the beaches of the Maldives. Complimentary services and facilities include snacks, pastries and cookies baked at Mirihi, a wide range of beverages including coffee, tea, water and soft drinks, TV, iPad, library, workstation, games and magazines, plus complimentary Wi-Fi, shower facilities with bathroom amenities and luggage storage.
