Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and Department of Civil Aviation in Fujairah (DCA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at consolidating strategic partnership and exchanging expertise, thereby contributing to improved performance efficiency and ensuring the highest levels of safety and security in this vital sector.
The MoU was signed on behalf of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority by Mohammed Lengawi,
Director General of DCAA, and on behalf of Fujairah Civil Aviation Department
by Mohammed Al-Salami, Chairman of the Fujairah Civil Aviation Authority.
The MoU aims to establish a reference framework for cooperation between the two
parties, including the exchange of information, data and expertise, the
formation of joint working teams, and the organisation of periodic meetings to
follow up on the implementation of the MoU provisions and address potential
challenges, in a manner that enhances institutional integration and achieves
the strategic objectives of both entities.
Lengawi stated:"This MoU represents an important step towards enhancing
integration and coordination among civil aviation authorities in the UAE. It
also reflects our shared commitment to supporting development and innovation,
and to elevating safety and efficiency standards. We firmly believe in the
importance of unifying efforts and exchanging expertise with our partners in
the Emirate of Fujairah in a way that serves the interests of the aviation
sector and advances its services, in line with the aspirations of our wise
leadership."
Al-Salami stated:" As the United Arab Emirates’ vision to strengthen its
leadership in the civil aviation sector, the Fujairah Civil Aviation Department
and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority have announced the signing of a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing coordination and
cooperation between the two entities. This step reflects their firm commitment
to advancing this vital sector and supporting its role in driving sustainable
economic growth".
The MoU seeks to establish a strategic partnership that will improve
operational efficiency and ensure compliance with international standards.
Through the exchange of expertise and the
adoption of advanced technologies and best practices, the collaboration aims to
