Pegasus Innovation Lab, the Silicon Valley–based innovation hub of Pegasus Airlines, has entered a strategic partnership with Overwatch AI, acting as both a strategic investor and design partner in an AI-powered platform designed to enhance airline operational efficiency.
The collaboration focuses on accelerating access to critical
information for pilots, cabin crew, and operations teams, enabling faster and
more informed decision-making in time-sensitive aviation environments.
The platform allows users to retrieve operational data
through natural language queries, supporting a wide range of needs including
technical troubleshooting, weather analysis, and airport and regulatory
requirements.
Pegasus Innovation Lab, which works to advance Pegasus
Airlines’ innovation-driven transformation and partnerships across the global
technology ecosystem, has already begun integrating the Overwatch AI platform
into its daily operations.
The system is currently used across approximately 30,000
flight operations per month worldwide, reflecting its growing role in
supporting large-scale airline workflows.
Overwatch AI was founded by former airline pilot Leo Kotil
and technology entrepreneur Nikita Kaeshko.
The platform was developed specifically for airline
operational environments, aiming to improve efficiency, reduce response times,
and streamline complex decision-making processes across flight operations.
The partnership underscores a broader industry trend toward
integrating artificial intelligence into aviation operations, with a focus on
real-time data access and operational resilience.
Barış Fındık, Chief Technology Officer at Pegasus Airlines, said: “At Pegasus, we see digitalisation as one of the key foundations of operational excellence. Through this broad collaboration with Overwatch AI, we aim to enable our teams to access critical information more quickly and make more effective decisions across operational processes. We believe the transformation artificial intelligence will bring to aviation operations presents significant opportunities for the industry.” -TradeArabia News Service
