Ampo Poyam Valves has secured a contract to supply more than 600 highly engineered cryogenic ball valves for the Ruwais LNG project in Abu Dhabi, one of the Middle East’s major lower-carbon LNG developments currently under construction.
The contract covers the supply of cryogenic ball valves ranging from 3 inches to 24 inches for installation across the onshore LNG liquefaction facilities of the project’s two electrically driven LNG trains, said a statement from Ampo Poyam Valves.
Under the new contract, Ampo Poyam Valves will supply cryogenic ball valves from 3 inches to 24 inches in diameter for the onshore LNG liquefaction facilities serving the two electrically driven trains.
The order currently in production includes more than 600 cryogenic ball valves, which are engineered for reliable operation under the extremely low temperatures and demanding conditions associated with LNG processing and liquefaction.
The award builds on Ampo Poyam Valves’ longstanding experience in cryogenic valve technology. The company has been designing and manufacturing cryogenic ball valves since 1986, giving it nearly four decades of experience in applications requiring high-performance valve solutions for cryogenic service.
