Renewable energy consultancy OWC, Korea Leading Energy Management (KLEM) and energy solutions provider OEG have signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly deliver offshore wind balance of plant (BoP) operations and maintenance (O&M) services in South Korea.
China’s installed power capacity reached 4.01 billion kW by May 2026, ranking first globally. Non-fossil fuels accounted for 62 per cent of capacity, driven by growth in renewable energy projects, including offshore wind and nuclear power.
OEG has secured a multi-million-pound contract from Ørsted to provide statutory inspection services across its UK offshore wind portfolio. The agreement, awarded through a competitive tender, runs for five years with two optional two-year extensions.
