Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that work has been completed on 595 bus passenger shelters spread across key areas in Dubai. This comes as part of a wider project to deliver 762 such shelters in the city.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced an integrated project to upgrade Al Wasl Road. The key development, spanning 15 km, will see the upgrade of six intersections and construction of five tunnels totalling 3,850m.
More than 40% of the work has been completed on the Trade Centre Roundabout Improvement Project - one of Dubai’s vital interchanges linking Sheikh Zayed Road with five key arterial streets. It will open in stages, beginning January with the inauguration of two bridges.
Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the completion of Dubai International Airport Terminal I bridge expansion work. The scope of work included increasing the number of traffic lanes from three to four in a bid to raise the bridge’s capacity from 4,200 vehicles per hour to 5,600 vehicles per hour.
