The third edition of the Global PR Summit, considered the world’s fastest growing business event in PR and corporate communications, concluded yesterday (June 5) in Bahrain marking a great success.

The PR extravaganza featured regional and international PR gurus from world renowned brands such as Google, Ericsson, Mepra, GE, MasterCard and Socialyze.

The PR Summit addressed the latest trends and challenges in today’s fast changing PR world with a special focus on reputation management in a social media era. The event welcomed keynote presentation on the Art of Apology by Mary Jo Jacobi, former chief communications officer at BP America, Royal Dutch Shell, HSBC and Lehman Brothers and Patrick Jephson, former chief of staff to the late Princess Diana.

Other top notch speakers included Joyce Baz from Google, Simon Jenkins from Socialyze, Jumanah Anter from MasterCard, Hussein Dajani from Hug Digital and Fida Kibbi from Ericsson. The Global PR Summit 3 also included a special interactive panel on working with connected celebrities with Sarah Walker from the Ritz Carlton and social media influencers Talal Al Rashed from Kuwait and Sheikha Dana Al Khalifa from Bahrain.

The calibre of speakers and insightful interactive discussions offered attendees the opportunity to get a deeper understanding of today’s ever changing PR trends and provided a natural support structure to help stretch the PR knowledge beyond limits.
