Vietnam’s Golf Coast is preparing for a strong 2026 season as Da Nang records significant tourism growth and attracts increasing numbers of international visitors.
The city welcomed 7.74 million overnight visitors in the
first five months of 2026, up 20.9% year on year, with international arrivals
rising 23.6% to 4.18 million.
The introduction of Vietnam’s digital arrival card in Da
Nang is expected to further improve the travel experience for overseas
visitors, supporting continued growth in the region’s tourism sector.
For golf travellers, Central Vietnam is emerging as one of
Asia’s leading destinations, offering championship courses, luxury resorts,
beaches, heritage attractions and renowned cuisine.
Within a short drive, visitors can access courses designed
by leading names including Colin Montgomerie, Luke Donald, Greg Norman, Jack
Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones Jr.
Vietnam Golf Coast clubs are preparing for the peak golf
season with new events and enhanced experiences.
At Ba Na Hills Golf Club, the popular Night Golf experience
continues every Wednesday and Friday, allowing players to enjoy the Luke
Donald-designed championship course under floodlights.
The club has also returned to peak condition following its
annual maintenance programme ahead of the IMG Trophy Tournament 2026 in
September.
"Our course has recovered exceptionally well and is in
outstanding condition heading into our busiest period of the year," said
Andrew McGregor, General Manager of Ba Na Hills Golf Club. "Night Golf has
become one of our defining experiences, while the IMG Trophy Tournament 2026
showcases the quality of golf and hospitality that golfers can expect when they
visit Central Vietnam."
Montgomerie Links Golf Club is also preparing to host its
16th Club Championships on 22 August 2026, bringing together members and guests
for one of the club’s key annual events.
The tournament will
also support the club’s Green Hope CSR projects, raising funds for
underprivileged students in Da Nang.
